The Star Thoth Tarot

The Star Imagery

A figure representing Nuit and/or Babalon is seen kneeling aside a pool before the infinite night sky. A star turns above. One cup she pours over her head, and one cup she pours into the world.

The Tower Associations

  • Tree of Life Path: #15—Chokmah and Tiphareth
  • Zodiacal Trump: Aquarius
  • Hebrew Letter: He (“Window”)

Path #15: Chokmah to Tiphareth

The eternal and unresting spirit connecting to the center of the tree—a place of balance, restoration, and transmutation.

The Tower Interpretations

The Star occurs after The Tower and represents the clarity after chaos. The most obvious symbol being a star coincides with the concept of the night sky as a means of navigation and guidance. We look to the stars for information about where to go—and in Astrology we look to the stars for guidance on our life path.

With the figure pouring sustenance into herself and the earth she restores what’s been lost—she is a healer. This card represents revitalization and mending conditions.

The Star is often a symbol of hope and kindness—a light we see when only in darkness, sometimes this is a friend or stranger’s helping hand. We must pass through the darkness (The Moon) should we ever want to reach the light (The Sun).

Additional Interpretations

“Hope, unexpected help, clearness of vision, realization of possibilities, spiritual insight, with bad aspects, error of judgement, dreaminess, disappointment.” 6

“Hope. Unexpected help. Clarity of vision. Spiritual insight. Ill-dignified: Error of judgement. Dreaminess. Disappointment.” 5

“Every form of energy in the card is spiral; this is in anticipation of the present Aeon, that of Horus, the crowned and conquering Child, successor to the ‘dying god,’ Osiris. The departing Aeon is shown in the rectilinear forms of energy issuing from the lower cup. These forms stand for the now abandoned Euclidean geometry. The figure of the goddess may be taken as a manifestation of the surrounding space of Heaven.” 5

“This is built up as a design on a spiral to show the rising force of a new age. The woman holds two cups, the north and south poles of magnetic attraction. Above her a new star is rising, beneath her are the crystallising dogmas of a former Age.” 5

Axank’s Dream Recall

August 11-12, 2016
Dentist gave me a client to work with. We met at a coffee shop to discuss the project. Afterwards I was suddenly approached by a guy who was known to have a crush on me and really wanted to talk but was also really nervous/anxious about it. He was standing really really close to me so I took one step back and he freaked out that I was completely rejecting him; Everyone was all about this ‘dry bath’ method where you take gold glitter dust and rub it into your skin and wait a few minutes before brushing it off. I tried it in an attempt it would help clear up my skin.
