The Minor Arcana Rider Waite Tarot

The Trumps Minor. The four suits. The lesser keys of the Tarot. The Minor Arcana reveal to us basic cyclic ideals that we face eventually within our lives. Physical, Social, Personal, and Mental issues are common place and all relate to each other in a dynamic way.

Just to get an idea of how significant the Minor Arcana is:
The Minor arcana is build of 14 cards per suit, that’s 56 cards total making up about 72% of the entire deck.

I often feel that the Minor Arcana is overlooked and under-appreciated. The symbolism within the Minor Arcana layers so deeply within itself that I find it almost superior in ways to the Major Arcana. Of course, I know that they’re just two different parts of the same playing field—but the minor cards have a great impression on me, and they are just so expansive!

The approach that I have to the Minor cards is that there are four different ways to observe each rung in the “ladder of life”. These observations look at the concepts in a positive way or in a negative way. You can look at them internally or externally. Each rung is significant in its position and if you have knowledge of each rung in the ladder, you will be prepared for when you have to step there at a later time. It’s like a whole bunch of different opinions on various archetypes that define our world. That’s why people often consult the Tarot, because it’s as if you are coming to an agreement.
