Six of Wands Interpretations
The six of wands is what others and myself refer to as “the hero card”. This derives from the traditional Universal/Rider-Waite artwork which pictures a warrior atop a horse making his way through a parade. This card rings true to the title ‘victory’ in this sense as well. Jupiter, the force of generosity and expansion combined with the pride and radiance of Leo produces a card of undeniable confidence and ownership. When this card is pulled it may indicate success, praise, and accomplishment. Negative aspects are tied with pride or arrogance.
“Gain. Victory after strife: Love: pleasure gained by labour: carefulness, sociability and avoiding of strife, yet victory therein: also insolence, and pride of riches and success, etc. The whole dependent on the dignity.” 6
“Victory. Energy in balanced manifestation. Love. Gain and success. Triumph after strife. Ill-dignified: Insolence and pride.” 5
“Victory. Tiphareth in the suit of Fire. Jupiter and Leo.” 5
“Victory. Jupiter in Leo. Tiphareth. Caduceus, Phoenix and Lotus wands are in arranged order, the warring and the peaceful opposites are balanced.” 5
Axank’s Dream Recall
December 30 2013—January 01, 2014
For a few moments I was a mountain tour guide on a familiar mountain I’ve climbed. In another dream, I dreamt I was offered a position in a company a family friend was working for—a position that was ‘perfectly meant for me’ based on my experience.
The first dream notes leadership and importance, the other a reward and matter of success.
