Princess of Disks Interpretations

My collective identification of the Page of Pentacles varies from what I think Crowley intended for the Princess of Disks. Crowley’s deck, as well as others, really drive personality to the cards and not just continued aspects of the industry of the card (i.e. pentacles = work, money; cups = emotions, relationships; wands = ego, character; swords = animosity, perspective).

The Princess of Disks is a person of careful and focused efforts. The Princess is kind-hearted and has a willingness to work through things to see them in completion. She is patient and endearing. She is reserved and draws strength from within and she works from sensations in her environment.

Additional Interpretations

“She is generous, kind, diligent, benevolent, careful, courageous, perserving, pitiful. If ill dignified she is wasteful and prodigal.” 6

“Represents the earthy part of earth. A young woman beautiful and strong, as if beholding a secret wonder, pregnant with all life. She is generous, kind, diligent, benevolent, preserving. Ill-dignified: Wasteful and prodigal woman at war with her essential dignity.” 5

“Earthy part of Earth, or the element on the brink of Transfiguration. She is standing; her crest is the head of the ram; her sceptre descends into the earth where its head becomes a diamond. Behind are a grove of trees, and an altar resembling a wheatsheaf. She carries a Disk in whose centre is the chinese ideogram denoting the twin spiral force of Creation in perfect equilibrium.” 5

“Here we have an attempt to translate into a picture the spiritual quality of earth, eternally pregnant and containing in its fertility the unwritten cypher of cosmic lore.” 5

Axank’s Dream Recall

August 29-30, 2013
I brawled with strangers who wanted said they wanted to kick my ass. I beat them all down (it’s my dream, what can I say) and then we apparently became friends afterwards. There was no genuine fear or anger, the situation was simply dealt with, and then friendship found its way in.
