Prince of Swords Interpretations
“He slays as fast as he creates”, says a lot for me anyway. I see this as the idea-guy in a fast-paced tech company—full of ideas but no ability to make them happen because he’s too intellectual to put it into words or action effectively. In his mind he is a God, creating and destroying all things around him; but, I can’t help but think others might seem him struggling to convey what’s in his mind. Brash, quick-witted. Haste, but not brute force, working subtly. Power by craftiness, not by dominion.
“Full of ideas and thoughts and designs, distrustful, suspicious, firm in friendship and enmity; careful, observant, slow, over-cautious, symbolizes Alpha and Omega; he slays as fast as he creates. If ill dignified: harsh, malicious, plotting; obstinate, yet hesitating; unreliable.” 6
“Represents the airy part of air. A young man, purely intellectual, full of ideas and designs, domineering, intensely clever but unstable of purpose, with an elusive and elastic mind supporting various and contradictory opinions. He slays as fast as he creates. Ill-dignified: Harsh, malicious, plotting, unreliable man; a fanatic.” 5
“The airy part of Air. This card typifies the intellect. The Prince is seated in a chariot drawn by child-like fays.” 5
“The prince conveys two ideas, one simply hail, the other the restriction of the scientific outlook, which uses but limits the imagination which is shown in the harnessed fays.” 5
Axank’s Dream Recall
April 04–May 05, 2014
There was a huge box in a vacant log. It was a delivery for KSN which I had mistaken for myself at first. There was a bike with a smashed wheel stuck on it. This town had a hospital in the movie theater and I had these medical strips that were about a foot long and had the thickness of a martial arts belt, they were white but dirty. I had to return them to the hospital, when townsfolk saw me with these strips they became afraid/angry. On the street I heard a scream, an ambulance came, but I couldn’t get there quick enough to see; I was at a very odd house party with a large group of people. Each room had some type of puzzle or game. The hostess got upset when people skipped ahead to the challenge of putting triangles found around the house together to make a shape—before she had instructed to do so… but people were curious.
